September news about our Vocational Academy
At present the construction work at Azamgarh Academy is almost complete. Now our academy is a government recognized school and we are eligible to run a school up to 8th class. For higher classes (High school, Intermediate) we are seeking affiliation from other govt. recognize educational Institutes. Educational and training programs are running for last 5 months. Currently 87 girls of poor laborer families and 36 Extreme poor boys are getting education in the academy.
Normally laborer families are reluctant to send their girls to any school due to financial, cultural and traditional reasons. But after the counseling of Six destitute are also living in the academy and getting education. There are many other deserving candidates in the area but we cannot afford to keep them all in our academy in given resources. We have also a plan to adopt talented boys and girls from govt. Boy’s and Girl’s Holding centers that requires more resources. We have 17 adolescent girls getting vocational and computer training at the academy.
