Roter Lotus Medical Care: Report from 25th October-22nd November 2011
Note – We provided medical care and attention to 3264 patients from the 25th of October to the end of November. Of these patients, 52% were female, 39% were male and 9% were children. Of the patients seen around 96% live below the poverty line and they and their families are in poor health and cannot afford sufficient food or medical care. The majority of the patients have several medical issues, many of which are severe.
The photos below show some of the people who attended our latest camps. We had three camp recently; one was Dhanapur (68 km from our medical centre in Sarnath), the second was held in Bhagatuan (12km) and the third in Jaitpura (8km). In these areas medical facilities are very limited and people cannot afford medicines. We choose these locations with assistance from another NGO who have experience working in different areas and who helped us locate the areas most in need.
Thank you for your continued support.
