Ajita 10 year old boy suffering from a kidney problem

aJIT lives in Singhapur with his parents and brother. His father, Pappu is working as a handloom and mother Meena also works to try increase the earning of the family His brother Deepak is in school in class 10.

For his treatment, the family first went to private hospital at Pandeypur. He was then moved to a governmental hospital; Kabir Chaura. His symptoms were not improving however and Ajit’s parents brought him to a third hospital; BHU, Varanasi. There they seen some improvement but had needed to take out loans for his treatment.

After A few months the pain returned and his body began to swell again. They couldn’t afford treatment and didn’t know what to do. A friend Santosh (Ghurahupur) suggested they go to the D-Foundation and ask for help.

Since then we have done what we can to help. First we went for a check up with a local Tibetan doctor in Tibbetan University Hospital. They recommended some treatments but after one month Ajits body was still badly swollen. We decided to bring him to another private hospital; SP Yadav where his condition improved.

Doctor, S.P. Yadav recommended some further tests and prescribed medicine for two weeks. However after two weeks the doctor suggested to admit Ajit for an operation. We have not been able to support the operation however as we do not have the budget. He is now in care in BHU with a weekly expense of Rs. 400. His condition seems ok but we need further help to pay for the operation.
